So FragOut Gaming is where I'm going to start this blog. I think its fitting to talk about my favourite and biggest project I've ever embarked on.
FragOut began in my database management class. For people who don't speak computer, this class teaches us about managing databases, which are basically big electronic filing cabinets full of data. Facebook is a database, Wikipedia is a database, plenty of sites are built off of databases.
My brother became ill, his junior year of highschool, spring 2015. He ended up stuck at home a lot, too sick to do much besides get on his xBox and game with his friends.
Our professor asked us to come up with a topic that we could relate too, and our team, Tony, Owen and I, all are gamers. So for my brother we began this adventure, building something we could show to not only him, but the world, and make a difference in gamers' lives everywhere.
Once completed we plan to suggest new games to users, based upon their likes and dislikes, and suggest other players they may get along with based on their choices. We're going to build a better online gaming environment, connecting players like no one before us.
At the moment, our task is simple, collect data on as many games as we possibly can and hope it goes well.
Here's to it going well folks.
